I am using NetAdvantage 10.2 and am having difficulties using the UltraWebGrid under IE9. When I select a grid entry, the selection begins to fail (i.e., the selected record does not highlight) after making the fourth selection. All worked very well under IE8. I am developing using Visual Studio 2005. Due to time constraint, I would prefer to not have to upgrade to a more current version of NetAdvantage at this time.
I notice there is a service release available to me labeled "NetAdvantage for Web Client 2010 Vol. 2 - ASP.NET Service Release." This service release is dated 08-Jul-2011 and shows a version id of 20102.2248.
My question: Will this service pack allow my 10.2 controls to run properly under IE9?
Please check if you application is running in IE9 Compatibility mode.
Go to Tools --> "Compatibility View Settings" and check for default settings. And also check the browser mode.
I have the same issue when I run my application in IE 9 Compatibility mode.
change your browser mode to IE 9 standard then you will not have that issue.
Thank you sir.
Hi megryan,
If you need any further assistance with the matter, please let me know.
As stated in the following article - https://ko.infragistics.com/community/blogs/b/taz_abdeali/posts/ie9-support-plans-for-asp-net-controls the UltraWebGrid should work under IE9. I tested it with NetAdvantage v10.2.20102.2248 and it is working as expected. Please refer to the attached sample.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
