Hi,
We want to add some controls at runtime. We deploy standard reports where the header and footer of the letter paper are customizable by the end user. They can configure a logo adres and company name etc.
Is there an example how to add images and/or labels to a report at runtime?
Thanks,
Dave
Yes, if it's enough for your needs is definitely the best option.

Andres
In our case using the first option matches best, and feels like a more general one.
Hi Dave,
We don't have a product feature that allows that. However, there are two ways of achieving it:
- Have a predefined place for those elements (e.g. Logo, company name, etc), and bind those elements to parameters or to the Report Data Source. That way they could set those values somewhere in the application and it would be used by all reports.
- Modify the .igr file programatically. This is not documented, and it's not an scenario we 'officially support' in the sense of having QA on top of it, but it has been used successfully by some of our customers.
Hope it helps,
