Snap to Grid - Change Grid Spacing?

I cannot find anywhere how to change the grid spacing when designing reports. I need the SnapToGrid option but the spacing is wrong for my report layouts and the size of my text controls.

This is a fundamental aspect of any report design system .

Any ideas?

Hi Paul,

You can configure the grid spacing and color through VS options. Please go to Tools > Options > Infragistics NetAdvantage Reporting > General. There you can set the grid step you need.

Thanks Leo,

I have a couple of observations about this:

It would be useful to have the grid spacing as a configurable option for each report section. Some report sections are subordinate to others and are using smaller fonts and the spacing needs to be different to the parent section.

Why measure grid spacing in pixels? This doesn't help when all of my report measurements are in cm. I now have to faff/experiment to find out what the spacing needs to be.

Ahh, just realised Leo, I can put in the measurement in the grid spacing. e.g.: 0.4cm. Perfect!

So, please ignore my second point in the previous post.
