Good Morning Infragistics People .This time the annoying to ask for his help on the issue of connection between xampivotgrid and olap using Silverlight 5.So far the project works fine when tested from VB2010 and using the cubes we have developed here. But after compiling the project and use .xap in Sharpoint 2010 for Silverlight WebPart, do not mount the databases in the data selector list.Making the connection tests using test you on "http://sampledata.infragistics.com/olap/msmdpump.dll", works perfect. After raising the issue and we keep mentioning the issue step by step to configure the connection via "http://server/olap/msmdpump.dll" and it works by testing from , but not after placing in Sharepoint. If in its possibilities could give us a more detailed step by step to recreate an environment even equal to that connection have to test you.Thank you sincerely.Atte. Juan Quintero.
Hello Juan,
Thank you for your feedback. I am glad that you resolved your issue and I believe that other community members may benefit from this as well.
Thanks again.
Hello Stefan.Making further review, we address the problem of connectivity via OLAP Silverligth WebPart for Sharepoint. The problem was the address to the OLAP server, which should be an external address that already had created a while. Using that address, the databases were visible in the xamlpivotdataselector.Sincerely thank you very much and I hope to continue learning from this great suite of controls and future work in this great forum.Regards, Juan Quintero.
Could you please tell me what authentication do you use (Windows, Forms, Basic, etc.)?
Looking forward for your reply.
Thanks for the reply.Indeed we have followed step by step instructions and the project that works perfectly using our OLAP databases from VB2010 when I run, in other words, making debug, but when put in Silverlight WebPart in Sharepoint 2010 page and configure the. Xap previous project, does not work with our databases, only works with yours. We suspect it may be a problem passing credentials between SharePoint and SSAS, because using your test database it works. Thanks again and sorry for the trouble.
