Webtab tab click event not switching tabs in IE for SOME users only

Even on the same machine, running IE as another user.

Some users work fine

Others 

  • ALways return 0 for selected tab / selectedtabindex
  • Never switch to the selected tab.

A key application.  Days of investigation.  At the moment, our only option seems to be to rewrite without infragistics.

    Hi Mike,

    Are you hosting something on a virtual directory on IIS? Are you using any external resources which are outside of the website or webapplication? My suggestion is that you check first that, because it's possible that some resources don't load i.e. if the folder in which they are located has some security privileges which restrict the access to specific users only.

    The other option about which I'm thinking is if IE has some javascript restrictions depending on the user that's running IE, however I don't know about such limitation.

    So, my suggestion is to check what resources is loading your application and where they are located. Please, feel free to comment or ask for more information.
