Bug in ContextualTab data binding?

I am trying to bind the IsVisible property of a XamRibbonContextualTab to a property in my viewmodel.

This works:

<ig:XamRibbonContextualTab Content="{Binding TabContent}" Key="DepatchTab" IsVisible="True" BaseBackColor="Blue">

But this doesn't:

<ig:XamRibbonContextualTab Content="{Binding TabContent}" Key="DepatchTab" IsVisible="{Binding TabIsVisible}" BaseBackColor="Blue">

The tab simply doesn't appear in this case.  I've put breakpoints in the get accessors of both properties, and neither gets hit.  Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?  I'm using version 13.1.20131.2104.
