Grid Grouping and New Groups not being created

I'm grouping my grid on a Column e.g TradeStatus.  This then groups all the Orders into their appropriate status.  However, when my datasource is updated by my real-time services any new Groups that should be getting displayed aren't!!!The 'RefreshSortPosition; method on the UltraGridRow will correct the positioning but not create a new Group if required. Any ideas?
