I tried to do some customization in the Infragistic report file. simplest example(changing appearance of a label). so i opened Report.igr in XML(text Editor) in visual studio and wrote a simple Control template for Label. but after this my report stop working and it shows a error :
"This file format seems to be old or does not corresponds to a Infragistics Reporting document." My Question is can we design a infragistic report in XAML ? like we design any WPF UI. or it can only be configured through report data explorer. Is there any video or other tutorial available for report designing.

Yes after we got to know that this feature is not available in the latest version. we decided to not to upgrade to 2014. And continueing with 2013.1 which we have license for WPF. Now today when i tried to integrate my Report POC(using NETAdvantage 2014) to out codebase (using NETAdvantage 2013.1) i got stuck in the compatibility error[2013.1 and 2014]. so i uninstalled 2014 and tried to install tiral version of 2013.1 for Infragistic reporting. but i was not able to. can you please send me the link for trial version for reporting 2013.1. which will be compatible with our NETAdvantage 2013.1. so that i can proceed with my demo app and evaluate the reporting 2013.1 [weather we are getting the minimum required feature]
I have been looking into your issue. Currently the controls in the Infragistics Reporting can be style, using the ways I have mentioned in my previous posts. If you want to be able to create templates for these controls you can log a new Product Idea for this functionality in our site: http://ideas.infragistics.com.
