Hi,
I am migrating from UltraWebTree to WebDataTree. There is one line of code I don't know how to convert in JS. loNode.addChild("NEW FOLDER"); Can you help?
Thanks
Lewis
Hi Petar,
It works perfectly. Thanks a lot for your help.
Best,
Hello Lewis,
Thank you for your reply.
Here is an example javascript function to get a WebDataTree node into edit mode:
function startEditing() { var tree = $find("<%= WebDataTree1.ClientID %>"); var node = tree.getNode(2); tree._nodeEditing.enterNodeEditing(node); }
Hope this helps. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Sorry for my confusing post. I have that configuration in place. Our system has a Edit button. When a user click Edit button it will put the selected node in editing mode. I am wondering if there is any .net or javascript function I can programmatically put a node in editing mode?
WebDataTree's editing options can be configured using the control's NodeEditing options:
https://help.infragistics.com/doc/ASPNET/2014.2/CLR4.0/?page=WebDataTree_Node_Editing.html&_ga=2.115550534.1361514943.1564061678-1320467891.1559052143
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I found it too hard to work with webdatatree control using js. The link to more examples in the post you gave to me doesn't work. So I decide to do everything in code behind. Do you know how I can make a node editable when I click on it?
