Is there anyway to minimize the load time for a report being pulled up in report viewer? It's a pretty simple report yet it's still taking ~5 seconds to load.

If you have a number of images that should be loaded in the report this could increase the loading time so it could be better to reduce their number or their size. If you are connect to a database to load your data, this can also make the loading time of a relatively simple report more than it is expected. You can make some test with a report which data that is not pulled form a database and compare to the loading time of the one that is. Please also note that rendering the elements in the report viewer also is taking some time to complete which is an expected as they are visuals.
