Hi there,
We are using webdatagrid in an asp.net application. From time to time we notice through Fiddler that the grid is trying to reference images from a non-existing folder. The 404 error look like /path/to/application/ig_res/none/Images/igwdm_scrollSprite.png. It doesn't happen on every page. The image file name is different from page to page. Dose anyone have the same problem? How can we fix it?
Thanks
Hello Lewis,
This isn’ something I have seen before of the ig_NoneControl being added or the styles being requested for it. Since I have been unable to reproduce the behavior do you have a sample you can attach that demonstrates the behavior so I may investigate this matter further?
Hi Mike,
Here is a piece of code from final html. What will trigger an ig_NoneControl? I am wondering when the reference was injected into header section?
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../ig_res/None/ig_shared.css"><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../ig_res/Office2007Silver/ig_shared.css"><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../ig_res/Office2007Silver/ig_datamenu.css"><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../ig_res/None/ig_datamenu.css"><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../ig_res/Office2007Silver/ig_datatree.css"><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../ig_res/Office2007Silver/ig_explorerbar.css">
<div class="ig_NoneControl igdm_NoneControlHorizontal" style="position: absolute; top: -10000px; left: -10000px; display: block; white-space: nowrap; border: medium solid; width: auto; height: auto; overflow: auto;">
The 404 error won't affect our application in function or look and feel. However we would like to get rid of non-necessary error in our production. I think one setting in our application causes this error. I just can't figure out where to look at. Have you ever seen reference to /None/ folder before and what's the steps to fix that error? I did a search on the site and can't find any post related to this though.
Thank you for the update. From the looks of the error is seems the grid or one of the other Infragistics controls you are using used to have references to images that were incorrect. So far I have been unable to reproduce this behavior. Since you are using an older version options are limited. Do that missing images affect your application functionally or visually? As a test have you tried switching to another style temporally to see if you get the errors with that style as well?
Thanks for getting back to me. We are using 13.1.20131.2331 and office2007silver style. In most pages we are mixing grid with some other infragistics controls like date chooser, etc.
