An approach I can suggest you in order resolve the issue you have encountered in regards to the grid not finding a specific record is to take a look at the possible scenarios that are included and described in the error's message. (each starts with a dash symbol "-")
If fixing the scenarios from above does not resolve your issue, would you modify the sample application I have attached, so the issue is isolated and reproduced and send it back to me? Having this information will help me further investigate this matter for you. (You may have to modify the volume and build version of the registered assemblies, so they match your own in order to use the application.)
