UltraGauge Background not transparent
posted

I've set the background property on a circular gauge to transparent, but it still renders a square background in a pale blue colour. even if i change the colour, it always renders this pale blue colour. I've set the ImageType to PNG, but this has made no effect either. Can anyone help? i'm using version 7.2.20072.61 of ultragauge.

** Found i had set the gauge background to transparent, this is what caused my problem.

also, if you are using IE6, transparent backgrounds will not work due to IE's lack of PNG transparency support.  setting the BrushElement on the root gauge to White is a decent workaround.

This may have been an issue when the gauge initially released.  I checked in the latest version, 8.2, and it seems to work properly.  If you cannot upgrade to the latest, I believe you can try setting a BrushElement on your root gauge.
