Hello
I have successfully deployed an app using webSchedule/WebMonthView controls to IIS. When I click on a day or appointment on the webMonthView control from within IE the AppointmentAdd form opens successfully.
However, I cannot seem to open this form from within Visual Studio 2005. When I try to view the form in Design Mode all of a sudden I get 196 errors such as 'Validation(XHTML 1.0 Transitional): This name contains uppercase characters, which is not allowed'.
It seems that IIS is configured properly, but obviously something is wrong withing VS2005. I am hoping someone can help me with the following:
-Is there a specific folder structure required from within VS2005 to properly access and modify the AppointmentAdd.aspx form?-Does anyone know why I would receive so many errors on the AppointmentAdd form?
I have looked through the documentation and not found very much help...
Thank you for any suggestions
First of all I would like to say a big THANK YOU to Christopher Bishop, who doesn't even work for Infragistics (I think) but who seems to be one of the more knowledgeable contributors to these forums. The lack of responses to most posts and direct emails to Infragistics is pretty sad, so thankfully there are users who take the time help out.
Regarding my previous post, what I really wanted to do was replace the AppointmentAdd form with my own. You can find some great instructions for doing this (courtesy of Chris) at the following link:

I also don't understand why Infragistics 'archived' old posts, but see http://forums.archive.infragistics.com to look through previous posts (which is where I actually found what I was looking for).
Getting Infragistics successfully installed and functioning has been without a doubt one of the most frustrating processes I have ever faced in over 30 years of software development. It reminds of the original beta for Sharepoint...I have spent 7 hours just getting the components installed and now I am stepping through one more problem after another just to get a simple webschedule application working. These common forms are a mess and certainly not worthy of a production application.
Lastly I couldn't even get the samples to install - install program crashes due to Vista SP1.
I would not recommend Infragistics to anyone - unfortunately I have no choice and have to use but I feel like I have certainly wasted a lot of money.
