PDF Export Compatibility with Acrobat 5.x

Hi, I have a number of reports which export to PDF which can successfullybe read by Acrobat 8, but cannot be read by Acrobat 5, where an error is reported.

Is it possible to create Acrobat version 5.x pdf files?

Unfortunately my customer is not able to upgrade to later versions of Acrobat, otherwise we would not have a problem!

Can anyone help with this?

Matt, thanks for the info. Having done some more testing the PDFs seems to be OKay (with Acrobat 5.x) when created by a VB coded site but not C#, peculiar. I'll investigate further. Richard

Doing a quick look at the code, it seems that the Documents engine should be generating reports that conform to the 1.4 version of the PDF spec, unless you have file attachments or you're trying to sign the report.
