How can it be that my WebScheduleSqlClientProvider is not working in a content file that has its own with master page? When I put the controls in a webform without a master page it all works fine! The error doesnt help me any further :-(
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Login failed for user 'sa'.
my WebScheduleSqlClientProvider works ok on content of the Master Page.
Can you please submit your code so we can have a look at it?
I wanted to know if anyone has found a fix for this yet? I have exactly the same problem. My database/connection works fine with the webschedule in a regular aspx page, but when I try to run it in a page that has a MasterPage I get the "Login failed for user 'sa'" error.
I'm certain it's not a typo as I directly copied it just now. And everything is based on connectionstrings in my web.config, so if the credentials were incorrect I would get it throughout my website.
Not using a MasterPage is not an option unfortunately.
Well, I can’t believe Infragistics does not care about this issue, I’m having a lot of problems with new releases of infragistics, especially with ASP.NET controls, WebGrid does not work properly, if you combine WebDialog and WebGrid or Web Tab with WebGrid strange things happen… Anyway, I’ve asked some questions myself and none infragistics employee have been able to answer them, It looks like they don’t care, they always try to solve problems with dumb answers, everybody has a lot of problems and common ones and Infragistics acts like they don’t know what are you talking about. (Do they really test their releases?) And I think everybody will agree the “Help” does not help at all. Infragistics used to be a great tool, but now it seems to be a great trouble. We should start thinking of another solution.
any resolve to this yet? I'm experiencing the same thing......had the SA failure then tried the suggestion of re-enforcing the connectionstring on the Page_Init AND Page_Onload....NOW I can push data into the DB....but it doesn't get placed on the schedule within the UI exactly like emiliofares experienced..
...man....what a mind-mess...until I found this post I was starting to feel inadequate as a lover.....
