It seems almost any time you few certain NetAdvantage components in design view it wants to create the ig_res folder for you. I don't want it to do this because I already have that folder set up as a virtual directory that I share with a few sites. And I'm using TFS and I don't want or need ig_res checked in as part of the project.
So, how can I tell the components to stop trying to create that directory?
Hi,
This is sort of a requirement for all the controls that use Application styling to have the ig_res folders that contains css & image definitions of the controls. With the applicaiton styling framework in place, you no longer need to create the virtual directory and can copy the application styles along with it when you deploy.
Hope this helps understand why ig_res is created.

Is there any chance that you can make an option on install to deploy all styles to ig_common directory. For example: aspnet_client\infragistics\20102CLR4\ig_res directory? This makes for ease of installation in corporate environments where people may be unaware of what is already installed to server.
