I installed NetAdvantage_Select_20092.1003 and the service release NetAdvantage_ASPNET_20092.2161_SR on a Windows 2008 Server with Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Studio 2010. I ran the utility to load the controls into the appropriate toolbox tabs. After adding the WebGrid to an aspx page I selected a particular behavior and clicked in the box where the "Add New Handler" dropdown should appear. It did not.
I installed the trial version of 2010 and the "Add New Handler" dropdown does appear.
Any suggestions as to how the make the "Add New Handler" dropdown appear for version 2009?
Hello dovebaer,
It has been a while since you have made your post, but I suppose the other community members can benefit from this answer as well.
What you can do first is to download and install the latest Service Release available for version 9.2 – build 2183 - and test this behavior again.
If you are using the grid with version 9.2 in Visual Studio 2010 it is possible that issues can appear since this version of our controls is not supported in that version of Visual Studio - http://ko.infragistics.com/support/supported-environments.aspx#SupportedEnvironments
Versions supported in Visual Studio 2010 are from 10.1 and higher.
I hope that this information will be helpful.
