When using the webhierarchicaldatagrid (version 2009.2) from Infragistics everything works fine in Firefox. I see 'master' data with 'child' data. When viewing the same page in IE it looks terrible. We can select the text and then we see it highlighted, but you don't see the text normally. Expanding the childrows doesn't seem to work. This behaviour is with standard stylesets from Infragistics and we haven't found a styleset yet which works. All stylesets so far display this behaviour in IE (all stylesets work fine in Firefox). Atleast we think it has something to do with the styleset, because the expected data is there. It just doesn't display correctly in IE.
Can anyone help us with this odd problem? What have we done wrong?
Hello DannyvdK,
we are making efforts to ensure all posts are addressed by an Infragistics expert. We believe that the other community members could benefit from this thread as well. To be sure that you will receive quick answer open a support ticket or call us via chat or via phone.
If you still have this issue please provide us more detailed information like the exact build number of Infragistics controls, browser versions, screenshot and steps to reproduce. The best would be if you send us small sample demonstrating the issue or at least code snippet and we will do our best to give you accurate and useful answer.
I can assure you that with the latest bits of code the control works under IE 9 and Firefox without any style issues. I suppose that the issue was related to some custom code or at least the problem is resolved in newer versions because it's not reproducible in my end any longer.
Thank you
Well, thanks for your reply. But have you checked the date of my initial post?
Replying 8 months later is not very helpfull. Quite frankly I'm disapointed in this entire forum.
be sure that you have installed the latest service release. You are not mention what is your IE version. If it is IE9 then you will have to upgrade to newer version to get full support for it.
Hope this helps
