Moving from 2008.2 to 2010.3
posted

Hi,

I have to upgrade our app from 2008.2 to 2010.3. Every page has obviously one or more declaration like this:

<%@ Register TagPrefix="igtbl" Namespace="Infragistics.WebUI.UltraWebGrid" Assembly="Infragistics2.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.v8.2, Version=8.2.20082.2038, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7dd5c3163f2cd0cb" %>

The version of the DLL it uses is hardcoded in the page. There is an easy way to upgrade without replacing all references in all pages (we have hundreds of pages, many of them modified by customers and out of our control)?
Maybe this is a stupid question, but before changing every single page I prefere to investigate if there is an easier way to upgrade.
Thanks.

    Hello Pier,

We provide an upgrade utility.  When you install the 2010.3 product, there should be a "Version Utility" link in the start menu.
