A column chooser feature is not currently on the road-map for implementation. It may be considered for the future, and product ideas such as these are generally highlighted with product management based on the popularity (frequency) of the feature being requested.

For an approach to achieving the column chooser functionality you can consider the suggestion by David, that is you could create your own drop down and the set_hidden(true/false) on the columns to show and hide.

It has been almost 2 years since Feature Request was submitted.  We are migrating to WebDataGrid from ultrawingrid and want same column chooser functionality.  Is it available?  is there any documentation / samples for feature and/or workaround?

...I think that should be all now - I will have to wait for the feature to be added but will add my own version first
