Hi,
We are having great problem in our Web Application using Infragistics UltraWebGrid v9.2.20092.2161 after migrating our Web Application from IE6 to IE8.
There are few inquiry screens in our app and all are having problems
1. Slow response.
2. Memory Usage gets doubled every time screen is closed and reopened.
3. Hangs after opening the same screen 2,3 with the same data.
Just to have a view of our inquiry screens having the data in the following way.
Note: OS is Windows XP Service Pack 3, Browser is IE8 .0.6001.18702CO.
Please look into this serious issue and let us know if there is patch of infragistics available for this fix or there will be a patch soon for this problem in near future.

In IE8 when i use these events :
1.igtbl_cellClickDown
2.igtbl_cellClickUp
events and do nothing in these events, the grid performs fine without any crashes and haltness but i lose the functionality of cell click and activation etc. and that's crucial to the project's need. As we activate or deactivate a button on basis of selected cell.
Waiting for the fix or workaround ASAP.

I have tested your sample with the latest service release - 9.2.20092.2183 Windows 7 64bit, Internet Explorer 8.0.7601.17514 and it takes about 30mb ram. How much ram does it take before.

My environment is XP SP3 kindly test it on this environment and use IE8's latest version IE8 .0.6001.18702CO. As our clients are using these specs.
First, mine is taking the same. The real is issue the IE freezes when opening nodes and click on various cells for 2-3 minutes.
Secondly, ram is not much of an issue if the grid doesn't hang up. I think increasing ram usage maybe the cause of the issue that's why i emphasized on this. But now i think its grid's issue.
I am using Infragistics UltraWebGrid v9.2.20092.2161 and your version is 9.2.20092.2183, if i want to take this service release how can i have it ? and tell me if during your did the IE freezed or ran smoothly ?
