Vertical Scrollbars Appear on Expansion of Last Few Rows

Hello,  I have a WHDG (10.3.20103.2134) defined in a cell at height 100%.  I bind this grid with enough data that the actual size is something north of 2000 pixels.

While working in the middle of the grid, expanding the rows causes no visible issues.  However, if I expand one of the last remaining rows, the row I expanded disappears off the page unless I engage the newly visible vertical scroll bar.

My requirement is for there to be no visible scroll bar whatsoever.  My expectation is for the size of the grid to expand as I have the height set to 100%.

Any thoughts on this?

    Oops...I keep solving my own problems.  Apparently, these grids don't like it when you assign a height to it - even if set to 100%..The key piece was to not set it.  I tried setting it to "auto", but it didn't like that.
