Rendering WebSplitter in While using Web Client Software Factory

There is an issue whenever I add a WebSplitter to a Master Page in the Web Client Software Factory Solution I am working with.  It states Error Rendering Control - WebSplitter1.  I just dragged the item from the toolbar and it has an error rendering.  Every other control works.

    I think we are having the same issue. did you ever find a solution? We are using Infragistics version 8.1 and asp.net 2.0.
