deployementscenario attribute in chart control: what is it used for

Can someone explain the use of that attribute in laymen language?

When I don t set the  property deployementscenario ... FilePath="~/ig_res/Default/images" ... in my web page, I get the following issue:

When I deploy the application in Preproduction environnement I get an error message : I think it has something to do with permission rights for the web page to access the Chart folder, where the chart stores its data/images or whatever

In order to fix that issue, I added deployement scenario property and set its filepath to specific folder, but that created anothor issue, not refreshing the datetime x-label when my data in the datasource of my chart changes

So what is the deployement scenario used for, can I use it to fix the right/permission issue ?

 

I will also try to post, in a different thread here in the forum, the error message I received in pre-Production environnement when I did not set the deployementscenario property.

    Here is the error I get when I don t set the Deployement scenario property:
