I'm just wondering, if its possible to bind XML to a WHDG with out using a XMLDataSource? XMLDataSource objects seem to be limited to XML files only in all examples i have seen. I want to pull an XML stream from my SQL Server and populate it in the WHDG.

The grid requires a hierarchical data source. You could try reading the xml into a DataSet or something.
