I tried adding a WebTab1_SelectedIndexChanged event but it did not work.

Here is my code:

<ig:WebTab ID="WebTab1" runat="server" EnableActivation="true" accesskey="P" TabIndex="29" ToolTip="Press ALT + P to access Property Details"
  SelectedIndex="0" StyleSetName="Windows7"  OnSelectedIndexChanged= "WebTab1_SelectedIndexChanged"

 protected void WebTab1_SelectedIndexChanged(object sender, Infragistics.Web.UI.LayoutControls.TabSelectedIndexChangedEventArgs e)
    {
      var selectedindex = this.WebTab1.SelectedIndex;
        var selectedtab= this.WebTab1.Tabs[selectedindex];
        selectedtab.ToolTip = "Use arrow keys to select tabs around";
    }

Please tell me why its not working.

In order to be fired on Server-Side this event should be configured to trigger Postback.

That is why you need to set “AutoPostBackFlags” property for it like this:

<ig:WebTab ID="WebTab1" runat="server" Height="200px" Width="300px" EnableActivation="true">

  <AutoPostBackFlags SelectedIndexChanged="On" />…

Test this approach and let me know if the event is fired properly.

ClientSideEvents-ClientOnMouseClick

How can I have it call a clientside event for a keypress instead of the mouseclick??
