Hi,
This is not a new issue .You might be knowing about that but still i am facing that problem- Set a webdropdown enableCustomValue =false. but auto match property to true.
Now as you type any word say 'U' and if 'USA' exist in dropdown's data then it will auto popup and get select right, Now just using backspace delete 'SA' and you have Only 'U' as a text in dropdown.
Now you can easily save this and your database is corrupt. Why it did let me save wrong value which is not supposed to get save.

Vivek Mahawar

Hi Petar,
Is there any update on this issue? I am also experiencing the same problem. We have used webdropdown control extensively throughout our application and this issue can cause us great damage if not fixed.
