Hi,
When I have a WebTextEditor control hosted within a WebExplorerBar template, I am unable to highlight any of the text within the editor. This only occurs when inside a WebExplorerBar.
On a similar note, I am unable to expand the calendar of a WebDatePicker control when hosted within a WebExplorerBar template. Could this behaviour be linked?
In both instances, to test this behaviour I created identical controls, but set them just outside the WebExplorerBar, and they were fine.
Any thoughts? Could this be a bug?

There are no service releases available yet for 12.1. We have a planned service release on June 8th for it. You can find information on our release days for our service releases here:

After looking into this, our most recent service releases for 11.1 and 11.2 have included this fix, and it did not make it in time for our release of 12.1, which is why this issue is still present for you.
I have created a support case for you with an ID of CAS-92836-XJJKHZ so you can track the progress of this issue and you will be notified when it will be released. The development issue related to this issue has been previously logged in our tracking system with ID: 109179.

I'm looking into this issue for you. The issue with the WebTextEditor has been a known issue and there have been Service Releases that have fixed this behavior. The WebDatePicker behavior may be a result of the same issue, and using the Service Release may solve that as well.
Could you please tell me which version of our product you are experiencing this with? I recommend updating to our newest Service Release for your product to see if you are still experiencing these issues.
