I set EnableCustomValues = false.
But the problem, is that the user can delete the text or part of it, in the box, so that it wont match
values in the list.
I dont want to let the user delete the values in the box.
Just to choose from the list.

You mean, this is a future developement?
When will it be?
I have 11.2
Thank you for the update. Can you please provide me with the full version number including the service release? You can find this on the assembly reference in the web.config or aspx page. Can you also please clarify if this behavior is working for you or not? When you have DisplayMode set to DropDownList what is the behavior you see in the WebDropDown?
The behaviour, is that the user can delete characters from the box, manually, so
it wont fit the list.
I use v 11.2.20112.1019
Hi drpoalim,
If you upgrade to the latest 11.2 Service Release, I think this should be fixed. It was bug 111865. It is currently in awaiting release, so depending upon the version of the SR, it could be in the latest or the upcoming one.
regards,David Young
Thank you for your patience. I have tested this issue against the latest service release that is out for v11.2 and the fix for this isn’t in it. I have also tested the latest internal build and the fix is it that. I am going to create a private case for you and attach that case so you will be notified when the service release goes out for this issue.
