I am using WebChart 11.2.20112.2125 and would like to update a line chart every 10 seconds or so with newer real time data as it is acquired by my backend system. I am using an AJAX asynch updatepanel and there is a major flicker that is apparent when the chart updates with the new data (i.e. new image).
I saw on an older post that it was happening to someone else and there was no solution. I really need this feature to work seamlessly and I'm unaccepting that there is no solution. Is there possibly a way to generate 2 images and then swap them out client side to prevent the flickering? Flicker = Bad
Any ideas?

Thanks Michael. I took a look at the example link you provided and it looks like that could do the trick. However, I didn't want to incur any additional library costs for this project. It appears that it is not included with my ASP Netvantage purchase. Is this correct?
I did notice that there is a savetofile method on the webchart server control so it appears I can save updated images to a series of files server side and swap them out via client script to avoid flickering. I have not tried it yet but that seems to be a possiblity to prevent the image flickering that I am seeing.

If you have either the NetAdvantage for .NET or NetAdvantage Ultimate bundle then you have the NetAdvantage for jQuery product as well. If you do only have NetAdvantage for ASP.NET then you will not have the jQuery controls.
