All,
I seem to be stuck here. I can't uninstall, repair or modify my installation of NetAdvantage. I was trying to modify my existing 11.2 version because a team-mate realized we had different DLL versions based on the same install. I can do anything. I even tried installing the latest version of the tools but I get the same message.
If I try to uninstall via the Windows control panel I get the same message. I am in a corporate environment and my "My Documents" folder is mapped to a network drive. Any advice?
Kevin
Hello Kevin,
Can you paste/attach a log file that shows the actual exception?
Also can you attach the log file of the installer itself?
This will allow us to see what the actual reason for such behavior may be.
Thank you.
Alex,
Thanks. I have attached the log file. Let me know if you need anything else.
Spot on Brian, many thanks for this. I have managed to detect the error on one of our homeshares and the network guys are working on it now. Thank you so much.
It turned out that I indeed had the problem Brian suggested. I did not have read permissions to the folder just below "My Documents". I think the networking team here had made some sort of a change recently. Once these permissions were changed it started working correctly. Thanks for your help!
Thank you for your reply.
I will follow up on your status next week.
Dimka,Thanks for following up. I have been working on a large project with a tight deadline so I have not had time to check on this yet. I did find a work-around for the time being that is getting me by. Iwill follow up with you in a few days as right now I am somewhat crippled when it comes to upgrading my Infragistics tools.
Thanks!
