I have the same problem. In short, after selecting a row when the grid rebinds, it shows as being selected but the position goes all the way to the top.
When I add rows to the grid it also positions itself to the top after it rebinds.
I am currently using Infragistics4.Web.v13.1, Version=13.1.20131.2107
Thanks! Michael Manganelli
hi,
can u please kindly help me. I have upgraded the grid from 12.1 to 13.1.But it is giving the error "Paging is not supported by the datasource".Kindly suggest a solution for this.
Hi Petar,
I am using 13.1 and see a similar bahavior on WebHierarchicalDataGrid. Grid is quite long and goes below the visible area of the page. When I scroll the page down (not with the grid scroll, but with the browser page scroll) so that the grid header goes up off the page and then select any row, the whole page automatically scrolls up to show the grid header. I need my grid stay still when I select a row even if the grid header is off the page. It looks like this is WHDG reaction on getting focus. Can I suppress this auto-scroll thing somehow?
Please, advise
Alex Petrov.
Hello Michael,
I have tested this scenario using version 13.1 build 2107 but am so far unable to replicate the described behavior. A sample application illustrating the issue would be greatly appreciated. Please note that if the grid's dataSource is cleared and the selected row is manually reselected from the code behind, the scrolltop position of the grid would nevertheless be reset - clearing the data source clears information such as scrolltop position, current page index, expanded rows in WHDG, etc.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or updates.
