When I select ASP.NET Web Forms Site in Visual Studio 2012, I do not see a References folder under the Solution Explorer to add a reference to the Infragistics modules I want.
I right click on the project and add a reference anyway by checking Infragistics4.Web.v13.1, Infragistics4.WebUI.WebDataInput and the corresponding 4.5 versions of these modules. I click OK. No Reference folder is created and no Infrgistics contols appear in the Toolbox.
Can you help me out?

In this scenario you will want to create an Web Application Project instead of a Web Site in order to be able to add the references in the desired way (though Infragistics controls can be used with websites also by dragging them from the toolbox to the form - the reference will be added to the web.config).
