It looks like the grid is able to visually do a pull to refresh.
I do not see an event to trigger when pull to refresh is done.
Hello cdmassey,
Thank you for your post. Are you referring to the Infragistics for UWP XamDataGrid in this case, or perhaps something else? It does not appear that there is a visual "pull to refresh" functionality built into our UWP preview XamDataGrid, and so there would not really be an event that triggers when this "ends."
Would it be possible for you to please elaborate a bit further on the exact control you are asking about and the pull to refresh functionality that you are seeing?
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns on this matter.
Sincerely,AndrewAssociate Developer
Yes.. The Preview for UWP XamDataGrid. If you are using a touch screen it allows you to pull down on the datagrid.
After letting go it springs back to the top like you would expect a pull to refresh control to behave.
(It does not behave the same way if using a mouse.)
Just not sure if this is the plan to trigger an event in the Final Release.
Any news on the final release Date of the UWP controls?
The spring-back animation that you are seeing when scrolling past the top of the UWP Preview XamDataGrid is not currently a "pull to refresh" type of functionality - it is essentially just an animation that is meant to let you know that you have scrolled past the limits of the grid. There does not currently exist an event that triggers when this particular action happens.
There may be a plan to implement a pull to refresh functionality in the final release of our UWP controls, but I am unsure of this at the moment. If you would like to see a pull to refresh action implemented as well as a way to catch this action, I would recommend suggesting a new product idea for this by e-mailing ideas@infragistics.com. This will place you in direct communication with our product management teams who plan and prioritize upcoming features and development based on community feedback. It will also ensure that your idea gets added to the Infragistics community ideas site once it goes live, http://ideas.infragistics.com.
As far as the final release date for our UWP controls, I am personally unsure of this at the moment, but you can e-mail blagunas@infragistics.com for more information regarding this.
