How to export unbound column by UltraGridExcelExporter?
posted

Hi,

I use unbound column to display columns like to following style.

Under the unbound column, there're 2 bound columns whose column header is hidden.

When I try to export this grid to excel, I find that in the exported excel file, the cloumn display style is strange.

As you can see in this image, some columns and rows are hidden.

I expended the hidden columns and rows.

Could anybody help me to deal with this issue?

Thanks a lot~

All the images in your post are displaying as broken links, so I can't see them.

But it sounds like you are using RowLayouts. My guess is that the SpanX and SpanY on some of your grid columns may be set higher than they need be and so you end up getting extra empty columns in Excel when you export. This was fixed a while ago, so you must be using an old version of the controls if that's the case.

You can either try to reducing the SpanX and SpanY values down to the minimums or you may just need to get the latest Hot Fix or upgrade to a newer version of the controls.
