I have a calendar setup showing 5 weeks with outlook 2007 style. This calendar works great except when you grab the scrollbar and slide it up/down in windows 8.1 the tip for the active week slides across the screen to the left.
It only occurs in windows 8.1...windows 7/10 it does not do this.
Has anyone seen this before or maybe another post I missed in my searching with an answer as to why this occurs or how to correct it.
To reproduce you just click and hold on the scroll bar and drag it up or down in Windows 8.1. I installed outlook 2007 and the tip for the active week stays were it should.
Hi Chris,
I reproduced this behavior in Win 10 also, therefore I created development issue #222356 for this behavior of the scroll tips not staying in place. Please be aware that you posted under a trial account and would need a subscription to receive a fix when available. In my testing I also noticed that changing the ViewStyle did not matter. Did you notice the ViewStyle of Office2007 changing the behavior on a particular version & OS?
Hi Matthew,
Strange you were able to reproduce in windows 10 but mine does not, either way I am glad to see a fix coming.
I did not notice any difference in the ViewStyle of Office 2007 for a particular OS.
thanks again for the reply, I will let my lead dev know so we can login with a non trial account for a fix when/if it becomes available.
Chris
The latest SR includes the fix for 222356 in versions 15.2 and 16.1. Head on over to My Keys and Downloads Page on the Infragistics Website. To download the service release, select the 'Dev Tools' tab and then select the volume you are using. Finally, select the 'Service Releases' tab and the available service releases will be listed below.
Remember to re-test your application after the service release has been applied and the application has been updated, and inform us if you discover anything in that re-test.
