We are converting applications from VS2008 to VS2015 and discovered that the WinToolbars cannot be viewed in design mode. They assemble fine and the application runs as designed, we just can't change anything.
I have a small test application that I copied over to try to see if it was repeatable. I loaded the application in the VS2008 environment and it loaded, ran and viewed just fine. I then converted the application into VS2015 and built it. It exhibited the same issue as our product.
The is what the error looks like in designer (very similar to other problems reported in this forum):
This is a snippet of the reference list:
The licenses.licx file is void of all Infragistics controls, as this seems to be brought up.
Also, this is the only version of NetAdvantage WinForms libraries on this PC. And they do work on VS2008 on this PC.
The version of VS2015 is 14.0.25431.01 Update 3.
Any help or direction would be appreciated. Since this is a known type of problem (for many years apparently) the solution should be known.
Hello Paul,
Thank you for posting on our forums. Infragistics for WinForms version 6.1 is not supported in VisualStudio 2015. To read more about our products supported environments you can refer to this page:

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.
