Not sure if this is the right venue or not but I have upgraded a WinForms project from 2006 to NetAdvantage 2007 volumne 2 and now I can't design any forms because the license info is gone from the license.licx file. Anyone know how to restore this?
did you uninstall NetAdvantage 2006 after installing 2007v2? This would explain your problem because as far as I know all NetAdvantage versions share the same licence dll. A workaround is to uninstall and reinstall 2007 v 2.
We are looking to gradually upgrade our window form apps and potentially even within a project, gradually upgrade individual forms.
With this in mind, is there any issue developing NetAdvantage 2007 Vol. 1 / NetAdvantage 2007 Vol. 3 side-by-side on the same machine? I presume if both are installed and the references within the .net projects are referring to the required version there should be no issue?

Hi Steve,
side-by-side installation on the same machine is no problem. Upgrading project by project shouldn't be a problem. I'm not sure if you can mix different versions of the same control within one project. This might lead to some problems with the licensing engine, as all versions share the same license assembly.
