Force popup menu to pop Up instead of Down
posted
I am writing an app that requires a custom taskbar that has a list of open forms grouped in some manner. To achieve this i have a status bar with control container panels that house an Ultradropdownbutton. That drop down has a popup tool associated with it and i add/remove tool based on forms/win32 windows that are open and closed. I cant use the MDI window list because i am running legacy apps inside my .NET container, so i am having to manage those windows by hand. Whenever the app is maximized the popup pops up into the container just like a normal windows task bar would with stacked windows. I am guessing this is because there is no room to pop down. See Fig. 1. But when the app is not maximized and there is room below the app, then it pops down. See Fig. 2. Is there any way to force this to always pop up instead of down, maybe fake it out to think that there is no room? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

This seems to be an issue which has already been fixed. So what you could do is to download the latest service release available for your current version or either download the trial version of Net Advantage 11.2 and test your application against it.
