Print Preview and PDF-export looks different for UltraGrid
posted

 Hi!

I have UltraGrid and when user prints it looks completely different from pdf-export - see attached file.

How to add stretched image to pdf-header? How to display pdf-header centered? How to use fit to pages in pdf-export? How to get rid of selectors for columns with ValueLists in Print Preview and printed document?

Yes, that's true. The grid printing prints the grid directly, it does not go through PDF to do printing. If you want to print the PDF, then yuo can use the print method on the Report.

You would have to add this directly to the report, I think. You might want to check out the sample that demonstrates how to insert objects into the report. There's a sample in the WinGrid Samples Explorer for exporting to PDF and it has options to insert other elements into the report either in the same section with the grid and in a separate section.

There is no such thing. In PDF, the page size is adjusted so that the grid always fits on one page horizontally. It's up to the viewing application (like Adobe Acrobat Reader) to scale the page for printing.

I don't understand what you are referring to.  What are "selectors?"
