Vista Menu behavior for "normal menu toolbar" - HowTo?
posted
I try to get the Vista menu behavior for a "normal" toolbar menu (not ribbon). I have a toolbar (MainMenuToolbar) with the common menus (File, Edit,... the like).

  1. Now this one should not be not visible until I press the "Alt" key. What I have to do?
  2. If it is visible by default (not activated by Alt key) like in VS 2008: it should NOT display the menu hotkeys (underlined char's) until I press the Alt key. How do I do that?

I know, there was a similar question (and answer) on the old forums (before forum newsgroups renaming), but I don't have them archived.
And: it looks like I cannot post to this group using the NNTP news reader - is this by design?

Thanks for any help,
Torsten
