All your help will be greatly appreciated.
I am experiencing the same issue in 2008.3 and 2009.1. This issue is killing us. This is a production application. I will roll back to 2008.1 where I believe the issue did not occur.
i am also facing same issue. did any one find any fix to it..
Thanks,
Kumar
I think that I've seen some threads on this issue in other places, so it seems like it's a known issue. You should contact developer support as I mentioned, since they may be aware of a workaround, or at the very least they can put you on a list to be notified when a fix is released.

I have discovered same issue after install hotfix 2038 for version 8.2 when try to set value of property "Text" of UltraComboEditor. I try version 8.3 too, but whit same result. Any suggestion?
What version are you using? Do you have the latest hotfix? I looked into the code briefly and the only place that I see accessing the SelectedIndex property from the EditorWithCombo should be if it is in edit mode. If you have the latest hotfix and you can still reproduce this problem, you should submit an issue to Developer Support.
