Hi to all.Before submitting a bug to Infrangistics guys, I whould like to know if anyone have the same problem.
When I right-click on the Tab item on WinTabbedMdi to show the ContextMenu (wich permit to close, move, etc) , or on the black triangle to show the list of opened forms, all is black (foreground and backgorund) and only icons are readable. See the attached jpg.
This happened from 2008.3, and if my memory dont lack, was happened also time ago with 2007.x and was solved with a new release of 2007.x.
This issue is only if the software run on Windows VISTA, with XP run correct!
Any idea about this issue?

I use the WinTabbedMdi in most of my software projects created this year. The machines the software are installed on range from Windows 2000 up to the Vista version of Windows. In my experience I haven't saw the context menu turn all black in any of those operating systems. It's possible that you're using a style file that messed up the context menus? Or maybe you forgot about some appearance property that was set?

The problem there is only when I using ViewStyle.VisualStudio2005 in utmm.ViewStyle.If I change the ViewStyle with others all work fine.
Can you try to set the same style in your app and tell me if you view the same problem on Vista OS ?I ask you because I use my own framework to build all of my apps and I dont want that can be a problem. I do my test and every time that I set VS2005 style the context menu go black.
If your test will give the same results I will open a BUG request to Infragistics.

This is definately a bug. I had the same result when using the VS2005 style. If I did the attachment correctly, you should see the screen capture.

I ask you a favor, if you can, ... can you attach a source code that reproduce the issue?Beacuse Infragistics Guys setup a micro project and the issue there is not, and I tried, unfortunally, to reproduce the issue.But you and me have this issue ... and my developing system (that I wrote and I use to develop all of my applications) is too big and wide to send to them.

I'm a little surprised that I couldn't get it to reproduce. With all my large client projects I get the same issue as you do with the black context menu, but when I create a simple micro project, the issue does not occur.
Are you possibly using a AppStylist style file for your application? Most of my applications use them, and I suspect that those could be the culprit.

mmmhh the AppStylist it is active in my apps, but normally none StyleLibrary was loaded.
I try to request help to Infragistics guys, to known where may be the problem, because with Infra 2008.1 the problem was no longer there.

Hi Torrey,finally I've got a serious answer from Infrangistics.
The solution is: use Infra 2008.3 HotFix! (2008.3.2021)
I've installed the HotFix, rebuilded all (libraries and app) and all work fine!!!! :)
