I want to decrease the height of the ExplorerBar's base. (An empty space under the items shown where they are opened).
Is it possible?

It is (using the control's Height property) but there is no publicly expsoed way to get the height of that empty space. If you like you can submit a feature request for a property that returns that information, or a way to have to last group take up the remaining space.
