I am using a dataset and creating datatables with some columns in each of the tables, and the table names are say "Car.asm","Carbody.prt" etc., Later I am assigning each of the datatable to an ultragrid and when I click on inbuilt columnchooser button, the column chooser dialog crashes.If I have a table with out dot(.) in its name say(Car_asm) it works fine.Can some body help me out in sorting this issue.

That sounds like a bug to me. You should Submit an incident to Infragistics Developer Support so they can get it fixed.
We have the same issue. We have a sample program demonstrating the bug & will post an incident with Infragistics today.
