We are currently using infragistics controls for WinForms version 3.1.20041.1044 runtime version: v1.0.3705. Is this version of the controls supported on Windows Server 2003 64 bit system? Is there a list showing what control versions are supported on a particular OS?
Best Regards,
Naizen
Hello Naizen, You can found the list of versions, and Supported Envaroments and operating systems here:http://ko.infragistics.com/support/default.aspx#SupportedEnvironments I hope this information was helpful. DimiDeveloper Support EngineerInfragistics Inc.
It does to a certain extent, would the version of the controls I'm currently using be supported on windows server 2003 64 bit or would we have to upgrade to another version of the controls. We do plan on testing the controls in a test environment, but wanted to see if anyone has tried this. Your thoguths please.
Regards,
Naizen,
We started providing support for 64-bit operating systems with NetAdvantage for .NET 2007 Volume 2, at the time including XP and Vista. With NetAdvantage for .NET 2008 Volume 2, we added support for Windows Server 2008 64-bit. This information is provided on the Supported Environments page that Dimitrina referenced.
Windows 2003 Server 64-bit is not listed here, because we have not tested it. In practice, we've found that things that work in Windows 2003 Server 32-bit and in Windows XP 64-bit also have worked in Windows 2003 Server 64-bit.
From the version number you've listed, you are using NetAdvantage 2004 Volume 1, which is older than when we started providing support for 64-bit operating systems. You will very likely need to upgrade to a more recent ersion of the toolset.
