Problem creating new preset and applying it
posted

In WinGrid, opened designer, went to Manage Presets, created a new preset and initialized it based on an existing grid.  Then I applied the preset to a new grid.  It seems like the preset added a splitter bar to the preset.  Sometimes it adds many splitter bars.  See attached jpg.  I can't figure out how to remove it.

Did the original grid have a splitter bar when you created the preset? If not, then this is probably a bug. Can you duplicate this in a small sample project?

To remove the splitter, you can simply click and drag it to the far left side of the grid. You can do this in the form designer.

Another option is to set MaxColScrollRegions / MaxRowScrollRegions on the grid to 1.
