I use ultragridexcel exporter.
in the grid I use the N0 format, so I get thousands separator ( 5,000 and not 5000)
but the excel export doesnt show the thousands separator.

I beleive your question is answered here.
It looks fine.
Excel though, doesnt support the N formating ( like N4) so in the event I have to convert it to the
#,##0.0000 format.
