Is there anyway to specify a different image to be used for the preview image in a popup gallery tool? The image I want for the dropdown is rather large 256x128, so I've got a size of 48x48 set as the 'ItemSizeInPreview'. This results in just the centre of the image being used for the preview which looks kind of weird. Ideally I'd like to use a slightly different version of the image optimized for this resolution. Is this possible? Is there any way to effect how the image is used (e.g. resized rather than cropped)
It appears this has not been implemented yet. You can also submit as feature request for this. The number of request does play a part in determining what gets implemented in each release cycle.
Hi,
I'd like to do this too. Has this feature ever been implemented or a workaround identified?
Thanks.
Thanks Kim, I've raised a feature request for this.
fluxmunki,
The UltraToolbarsManager uses the GalleryToolItem's images in the PopupGalleryTool's preview area; there is no way to assign a different image to this area. I took a look to see if there was any way to manipulate the image in the preview area but not the image in the GalleryToolItem, but wasn't able to find anything. If you would like to submit a feature request for this functionality, you can do so here.
~Kim~
